According to a Twitter post by coreteks (@coreteks), AMD was initially planning to launch a 16GB Radeon RX 6000 series card at a price point of US$599 (~RM2485). However, with the RTX 3080’s starting SRP of US$699 (~RM2900), the analyst is of the opinion that AMD may drop that price down by US$50 (~RM207) and sell its upcoming card for US$549 (~RM2278).

This is, of course, all merely speculation on coreteks’ part, and as it stands, there’s no official statement from team red that we can lean into about it. Information about AMD’s Big Navi GPU is still limited, but what is known is that it is the brand’s 2nd generation RDNA2 GPU architecture and that its cards will have onboard hardware that supports real-time ray-tracing and variable rate shading.
