Older games in the Borderlands series – from the first game to the Pre-Sequel – have been bombarded with negative reviews. The entire episode is very similar to the previous case with Metro Exodus; a number of the negative reviews praise the games themselves and the franchise but deride the Epic timed exclusivity. The ASCII art library is also back, unsurprisingly.
More so than Metro’s case, there have been a lot of positive reviews pouring in. In an effort to counter the negative review spike. These, in turn, make reference to the act of review bombing causing collateral damage rather than the intended effect. Needless to say, this has caused the charts to have an almost balanced spike in both directions.
— Randy Pitchford (@DuvalMagic) April 3, 2019 This is a pretty predictable outcome to another Epic Games Store exclusivity deal, even if it lasts for half as long as another timed exclusive. That said, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford claims that he will do all he can to bring Borderlands 3 to Steam if Valve’s Gabe Newell does the impossible – announce Half-Life 3. (Source: PCGamesN)
