Scheduled to take place at 10 AM PST, that would be at 2 AM on 11 November, Malaysian time. Naturally, we all have to wait until the event day to know the actual product or service that Apple will release into the market soon enough, but at the moment, signs are pointing to new Mac products with Apple’s own processor.
Called Apple Silicon, the company has officially unveiled its intention to move away from Intel processors during WWDC 2020 earlier this year. Said to be able to provide and deliver both performance and power efficiency, Apple didn’t provide any in-depth details regarding its new chip at the time but did say that it intends to launch new Macs with Apple Silicon before the end of 2020, which makes the timing of the upcoming 10 November event seems rather apt. According to a report by Mark Gurman and Debby Wu of Bloomberg, Apple is currently working to produce new 13 and 16-inch MacBook Pros alongside 13-inch MacBook Air that will be powered by the new Apple Silicon. However, they will not look far off from existing models and at least two of them may appear during the 10 November event.
Nevertheless, we are definitely curious to check out how the new Macs with Apple Silicon will fare against Intel-based models. More so, we are eager to know how much they are going to cost in Malaysia as well. So, stay tuned.
