In terms of size, the new 7th generation iPad feature a larger 10.2-inch Retina display, as well as carries support for the 1st generation Apple Pencil. Also, and for the first time, the tablet will also carry support for the fruit company’s full-size Smart Keyboard. In terms of hardware, the new iPad comes with Apple’s A10 Fusion chipset and Embedded M10 co-processor, which Apple claims is two times faster than the current top-selling Windows PC on the US market right now. Additionally, the new iPad will run with the latest version of Apple’s iPadOS out of the box.

The new iPad will retail from US$329 (~RM1370), with orders for the tablet starting today in the US. The tablet will officially be available starting 30 September. Again, and as mentioned by Tim Cook, any purchase of the latest iPad, iPhone 11, or iPhone 11 Pro devices comes with a free 1-year subscription to its Apple TV+ service.
