In fact, the closure has already been reflected on the operating hours of all three Apple Store locations in Southeast Asia including Orchard Road and Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore as well as Bangkok’s Iconsiam. However, this temporary closure doesn’t apply to its online stores throughout the world and also Apple Store locations in China though which have gone through the same exercise from around late January to mid-February.
Meanwhile, Apple has also decided to host its 31st Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) entirely online. To take place later this June, developers can still look forward for the early access and insights to Apple’s ecosystem through online keynotes and sessions. The company will provide additional details regarding WWDC 2020 in weeks to come but interesting enough, the official announcement by Apple also seems to be hinting something for consumers as well by saying that the new online format for WWDC 2020 will be “packed with content for consumers, press and developers alike,”.
Consider us intrigued then. With that, we’ll keep you posted once we hear more regarding WWDC 2020. (Source: Apple – 1, 2.)
