As per what we have mentioned in our previous report, CaltexGO supports credit as well as debit cards for payment and that still remains true today. The app also allows customers to redeem BPoints from the brand’s JOURNEY loyalty card for fuel.
To utilise the app, one first needs to locate and visit the nearest Caltex station that supports CaltexGO. Once there, choose the pump number, method of payment, and then start the pump in the fuel when prompted. As part of the launch in Malaysia, Chevron is now offering an RM5 cashback for first-time users of CaltexGO when they pump a minimum of RM30 worth of fuel. Additionally, they’ll get RM5 cashback the next two times they refuel with a minimum of RM30 although do note that this launch promo ends on 31 December 2021. At the moment, one can only utilise the app for fuel payment and not for products in the station’s convenience store. Additionally, CaltexGO is only supported by selected Caltex stations in Klang Valley, but Chevron says they’re planning to expand the availability to other states by the first half of next year.
