Designed to carry total payloads of up to 1090kg, EC35 can be obtained in two and five-seater configurations. The electric van is equipped with a 60kW motor that provides up to 200Nm of torque and a maximum speed of 100km/h.
Locally assembled by DFSK’s long-time assembly partner, Go Auto at its facility in Kedah, the EC35 is powered by a 38.7kWh battery. This allows it to travel up to 200km for city driving or 268km according to the WLTP standard. Equipped with a CCS2 charging port, the van takes around six to seven hours to charge when using an AC 6kW charger. However, it takes only 35 minutes to go from 20% to 80% when being charged using a DC 40kW charger.
In addition to having electric power steering, the EC35 also comes standard with Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Other safety features that have also been equipped with the van are a driver-side airbag, triple rear parking sensor with sound alert and distance indicator, reverse camera, and automatic headlights. Not to forget, there is also an Android-based entertainment centre console that supports Bluetooth and a USB flash drive. Covered by a 5-year 120,000km warranty policy for its drive train and the battery, the EC35 electric van can be obtained for RM130,000 or through QC Fleet’s leasing program with duration options from three to five years.
Those who are interested to get their hands on the EC35 can reach out directly to QC Fleet by ringing its Sunway Damansara HQ at 03-78807188. On a related note, the company has also revealed that it is working to bring the DFSK EC31 electric truck into Malaysia although this will only take place sometime in 2023 or 2024.
