To recap, the DJI Pocket 2 comes with a new 1/1.7-inch sensor that enables it to capture 64MP photos and record videos at up to 4K resolution at 60 fps. The new sensor also supports 8x zoom for 64MP stills, 4x lossless zoom for 1080p videos, up to 8x slow motion at 1080p, and HDR video recording.
Other new features and improvements include ActiveTrack 3.0 autofocusing and tracking capability, an updated 3-axis stabilisation, as well as support for modular controls such as the Mini Control Stick attachment. Software-wise, the Pocket 2 comes with a variety of modes such as 3×3 Panorama, Timelapse, Hyperlapse, Motionlapse, AI Editor, Livestream, and Story Mode. The new Pocket 2 will be sold in Malaysia starting on 1 November 2020 at the local DJI flagship store, authorised dealers, as well as the brand’s official stores on Lazada and Shopee. The standard DJI Pocket 2 package will retail at RM1,549 and includes the Mini Control Stick and tripod mount. Meanwhile, the Creator Combo is priced at RM2,169 and includes the Mini Control Stick, tripod mount, wide-angle Lens adapter, wireless mic + windscreen, Do-It-All handle, and micro tripod.
