At the launch of Versa 2, Fitbit Premium, and Aria Air 2 for Malaysia today, the Regional Director for Fitbit Southeast Asia, Louis Lye has revealed that Fitbit Pay is expcted to be available in our market in Q1 2020. While he was not able to reveal in-depth details regarding the arrival of Fitbit Pay in Malaysia, Louis has stated that the system is able to support Visa and Mastercard. During the launch, Louis has also pointed out that the cashless payment infrastructure has improved so much in Malaysia and with Fitbit Pay already been approved by authorities, it is just a matter of getting the financial ecosystem ready for it.
