Both kits are designed specifically to work with the latest Intel Core X series CPUs, as well as currently existing X299 motherboards. Specifically, the 64GB DDR4-4266 kit comprises eight sticks of 8GB DDR4 RAM, while the 128GB DDR4-4000 kit comes with eight stick of 16GB DDR4 RAM.

Specs-wise, the 64GB variant has a CAS latency of CL19-19-19-39, and a memory voltage use of 1.45V. The 128GB DDR4-4000 set has identical CAS latencies, but with a slight lower voltage consumption of 1.35V. Additionally, both memory kits support Intel’s XMP 2.0, for those among you who appreciate the one-step overclocking feature. And yes, all the memory modules have RGB LEDs built into their spines. G.SKILL says that both the 64GB DDR4-4266 and 128GB DDR4-4000 Trident Z RGB memory kits will be available at for purchase at all authorised resellers and shops, sometime during the first quarter of 2019.
