The video render comes by way of the popular concept design page, Pricebaba, and leakster site OnLeaks. According to the site’s impressions, the renders shows a Pixel 4 XL that has ditched the notched display. Instead, the designs seems to revert back to a near bezel-less design akin to the design of the Pixel 3. On the subject of cameras, the renders shows the Pixel 4 XL’s main array housing a triple-camera module, while the selfie camera comprises a dual sensor setup. Like the Google Pixel 3 series, the renders also imagine that the Pixel 4 XL will retain the same button layout, with the power button being a bright neon-like colour that stands out. One design factor that seems consistent is the glass back depicted in the video; Since its inception, the Google Pixel has always used polycarbonate and glass design for the back of its phone. Because of that, seeing a Pixel smartphone with a glass back is surprising, if not slightly refreshing. As always, the video doesn’t provide any information on hardware, but if the rumours of Google launching the phone in the upcoming months is true, the it’s likely that it’ll be running on the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC, among other things.
