For starters, it can’t be used for online and e-commerce transactions. In other words, the RM150 credit can only be used at physical locations but not at your favourite e-commerce platforms even though they may support any of the ePemula e-wallets as a payment method. Below is the list of other transactions that can’t be performed using the free RM150 credit:
peer-to-peer transferscash-outsapp-integrated payment of utility billsapp-integrated payment of Government related fees/paymentsapp-integrated payment of telco postpaid bills and prepaid service top-upsapp-integrated games purchases;app-integrated parking and/or toll fees paymentsapp-integrated investment-related activities
As mentioned in our earlier report, eligible individuals are able to claim the ePemula credit until 1 June 2022. In addition to that, they also must spend all of the RM150 credit by 11:59 PM on 10 June 2022. (Source: Ministry of Finance.)
