There are a few features that the two have in common. One is the physical key for getting to Google Assistant. It’s basically identical to Samsung’s Bixby-dedicated button, but for Google Assistant instead.
The second is having the notification light built into the power button. Also rather than having it blink, the notification lights will pulse slowly, akin to a breathing rhythm. HMD Global says both features will be available in all of the Nokia phones for 2019.
Moving onto unit-specific details, the Nokia 4.2 features a 5.71-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC and a 3000mAh battery. On the other hand, the Nokia 3.2 comes with a 6.26-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 SoC and a 4000mAh. Both phones will also come with two configurations.
The Nokia 4.2 will be available starting April. The one with 3GB/32GB storage configuration will cost US$199 (~RM811), while the one with 2GB/16GB storage configuration priced at US$169 (~RM689). Meanwhile, the Nokia 3.2 will only be available starting May. The first configuration of 3GB/32GB storage will be priced at US$169 (~RM689), and the 2GB/16GB storage configuration will come with a price of US$139 (~RM566). That said, there’s no word yet on local pricing and availability.
