As most have known by now, HONOR was originally a subsidiary brand under Huawei. As a result, the company was also affected by the US sanctions that have been imposed onto its former parent company, which denied it from securing licenses from various US-based hardware and software suppliers. Thanks to its recent departure from Huawei, HONOR is finally able to reestablish its previous connections and even form newer ones. The report added that the company is hopeful that the deal with Microsoft will also pave way for a renewed relation with Qualcomm, which discussions have reportedly already started. HONOR is said to launch a new MagicBook Pro notebook with Windows 10 in January 2021.
