The Watch Fit 2 sports a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with curved edges and a single button on the right side. The Active Edition offers easily swappable silicone straps, the Elegant Edition comes with metal chainlink straps, and there is also the Classic Edition which has leather straps.
What makes this wearable interesting, especially for those who are just getting into fitness, is that it has an animated personal trainer that will guide you through seven workout courses as well as warm-ups and stretches. It can also track 97 workouts and runners can input their fitness details for a bespoke training programme. The watch comes with a multitude of sensors to track your health and movements, including a heart rate sensor, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) tracking, sleep tracking, and a menstrual cycle tracker for the ladies. The watch also has a built-in GPS for tracking your progress without needing to be connected to a phone.
The software comes with a voice assistant that only works with Huawei smartphones, but besides that, the Watch Fit 2 is compatible with both Android and iOS. As for the battery life, it can last between seven to 10 days on a single charge depending on usage and can be topped up for a whole day’s use with a five-minute charge. Both the Active and Classic Edition of the Watch Fit 2 will go on sale on 27 May at RM599 and RM699 respectively, while the Elegant Edition will be available in July with a price tag of RM699. Obtainable through Huawei’s official website as well as their Lazada and Shopee stores, consumers also have the option to purchase two units of Active Edition for RM1,098 from 27 May until 30 June.
