Unlike its predecessors, the new Flex 5 AMD is equipped with AMD’s new Ryzen 4000 Series mobile processors, ranging from the Ryzen 3 4300U to the Ryzen 7 4800U. Designed and based on the CPU maker’s current 7nm Zen 2 CPU architecture, the new CPUs are also both more powerful and energy-efficient than the previous Ryzen 3000 Series mobile CPUs.
Additional specifications include up to 16GB DDR4-3200MHz RAM, a 14-inch Full HD IPS Multi-touch display, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and a 3-cell battery that Lenovo says will provide users with up to 12 hours of continuous use. Ports-wise, the laptop comes with the usual far of USB-A 3.1 ports, USB-C, an HDMI 1.4b output, 4-in1- card reader, and a 3.5mm audio output. Pricing for the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 AMD starts from RM2399 for the variant with either the Ryzen 3 4300U or Ryzen 5 4500U. Of course, if you’re looking for the top-tier version of Lenovo’s 2-in-1 notebook with the Ryzen 7 4700U, that model starts from RM3475.12.
