XDA reports that it has obtained official marketing videos for the Lenovo Legion phone. And based on screenshots from these videos, the phone looks closer to the initial set that came with a pair of earbuds. To start, it has its two rear cameras closer to the Legion logo at centre of the phone’s back. There’s also an LED flash just above it. The Lenovo Legion phone also doesn’t have a notch or punch hole cutout on the front. Instead, it makes use of a popup mechanism for its front-facing camera. But what makes the phone interesting is that it has its popup mechanism on the side of the phone. Based on this and the Legion branding at the back, it looks like the Legion has a predetermined right-side-up landscape orientation.

The marketing material also shared some items on the Lenovo Legion phone’s spec sheet. For one, it will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, as well as UFS 3.0 internal storage and LPDDR5 RAM. That said, the videos did not reveal the exact numbers for those two. Other items include a Full HD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling rate. The videos also revealed the two cameras on the back of the Lenovo Legion to be a 64MP main and 16MP wide angle pair. The front popup camera, on the other hand, is a 20MP shooter. It also has two USB-C ports, one at the bottom and the other on the left.

If these images really are from marketing material, then the design of the phone is pretty much set, barring minor adjustments. There’s a lot of interesting choices here to be sure, especially with the rear and front-facing cameras. This also means that Lenovo may be making an official announcement for the Legion gaming phone soon. But when exactly remains to be seen. (Source: XDA)
