In an interview with MTV News, Tom Hiddleston noted that the first season of Loki will consist of a tight six episodes. Hiddleston also mentioned that the series will have humour in it from start to finish, which is to be expected considering its lead character. But more intriguing than that is the fact that Loki will begin the series as the pure villain he was in 2012’s The Avengers and then evolve once again as the series plays out.
Hiddleston added: Loki will be dropping on Disney+ in 2021. You have his specific gifts, his intelligence, his treachery, his mischief, his magic, and then seeing him come up against more formidable opponents the like of which he has never seen or known.”
