Despite it being ARM-based, Microsoft says that this is a full-fledged Surface Pro device. It’s armed with a custom Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset called the Surface SQ1. The company claims that this is a 7W processor which gives it the power to compete with its other Surface devices.
On the outside, it looks pretty much like any other surface device. It has a 13-inch display, weighs (~760g) and is 5.3mm thin at its thinnest point. Its keyboard has space for a Slim Stylus, which charges magnetically when not in use. It also comes with support for LTE connectivity.
The Microsoft Surface Pro X is priced at US$999 (~RM4130). It’s available for pre-order now, but will only be available starting 5 November. No information on local pricing or availability just yet, though.
