Kicking things off is MSI’s powerhouse GT75 Titan series of notebooks. Consumers will have a choice between Intel’s Core i7-9750H or an Intel Core i9-9980HK CPU. Naturally, the latter options is only available with the lineup’s most decked out SKU, which includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU and a 17.3-inch 4K IPS display, a multitude of M.2 SSD slots, plus a built-in mechanical keyboard courtesy of SteelSeries.

Pricing for the GT75 Titan starts from RM13499 for the “basic” model, and tops out at RM21499 if you’re thinking of getting the variant with all the trimmings. Next in line to receive the 9th generation treatment is MSI’s thin, light, and powerful GS series of notebooks. Both the GS75 Stealth and GS65 Stealth have been refreshed with Intel’s new mobile CPU, although it should be noted that the highest CPU configuration will be the Core i7-9750H across the board.

Beyond that, there aren’t many changes in the rest of the hardware department and their configurations, save for the GS65 Stealth; instead of a display with a 144Hz refresh rate, MSI has bumped it up to a 240Hz panel. While the bump up in screen refresh rate would benefit the many, we still think that MSI would benefit more from making it a G-Sync monitor instead.

Pricing for the GS75 Stealth starts at RM9799 for the model running on a RTX 2060 Max-Q. For an additional RM1300, you can bump the GPU up to an RTX 2070 Max-Q, and for RM14599, you can get the model running on an RTX 2080 Max-Q GPU. In regards to the GS65 Stealth, the baseline model starts at roughly the same price at RM9999, while the top of the line model will cost you RM14999. Next on the list is the GE Series of gaming notebooks, specifically, the GE75 Raider and GE63 Raider RGB. Like the GS series, both variants of the GE series are limited to the Core i7-9750H CPU as its only configuration, while the other component options seem to maintain the status quo.

Price-wise, the GE75 Raider starts at RM7999 and tops out at RM12999 for the top-tier variant, while the GE63 Raider RGB’s basic model starts begins at RM7899, while the top-of-the-line variant will set you back RM11099.

MSI is also giving the MSI GP75 Leopard the 9th generation Intel CPU treatment, although the official specs sheet doesn’t state which model it will be getting. There’s also no official pricing, but the rest of the hardware listed includes an RTX 2060 GPU, a 17.3-inch Full HD display with 144Hz refresh rate, NVMe PCIe Gen3 SSD storage, and a per-key RGB gaming keyboard, provided by none other than SteelSeries.

Last on the list is the GF Series, which comprises the GF75 Thin and GF63 Thin. Both these models are by far some of the brand’s more affordable models, and it’s easy to understand why. While both variants are equipped with a 9th generation Intel Core i7-CPU, they are also two of four notebooks fitted with NVIDIA’s recently announced GTX 1650 GPU for notebooks. Pricing for both the GF75 Thin and GF63 Thin are set at RM5199 and RM4899, respectively. If you’re wondering about the GL series, MSI told us that it would only be bringing the variant refreshed with Intel’s 9th generation Core CPUs as early as next month. The current iterations of the GL73 and GL 63 only sport an 8th generation Core i7-8750H CPU, but these are the other two notebooks that come with the option of having a GTX 1660 Ti GPU inside of them.

Price-wise, the GL63 has two price tags; the SKU with the GTX 1660 Ti will cost RM5899, while the option with an RTX 2060 GPU will cost RM6099. The GL73 will retail for RM6299, but it only comes in a single GPU configuration, which is the GTX 1660 Ti.
