What’s awesome about the new trailer is that on top of showing us a little bit of the dysfunctional Romanoff family dynamic, it also introduces us to the villain, Taskmaster and boy what a terrific introduction it is. In the comics, Taskmaster is sometimes portrayed as an anti-hero more than an outright villain, so it would be interesting to see how he interacts and collides with Black Widow and her family, all of whom tend to operate in the grey area as well. It’s directed by Cate Shortland (Berlin Syndrome, Lore) from a screenplay by Ned Benson (The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby) alongside newcomer Jac Schaeffer. Black Widow hits Malaysian cinemas on 30 April 2020.
