The CEO recently shared a screenshot of the smartphone’s display settings, which shows the phone’s ability of supporting refresh rates of up to 144Hz. In the post, Fei referred to the upcoming phone as the “Red Magic 5G” and confirmed that it will sport next-gen connectivity as well.
The Nubia CEO had also previously confirmed that the new phone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC in a 5G teaser image on Weibo that also featured the company’s Red Magic branding. The brand logo would later appear again in a separate post as part of a photo’s camera watermark, which claims that the phone will sport a triple camera setup.
Besides that, other details of the Nubia Red Magic 5G’s specifications are still kept under wraps for now. Information on its release date has not been revealed either, but based on the launch dates of its predecessors, it’s most likely that the company is targeting an April release.
