The OnePlus 7 Pro’s phantom tap problem isn’t one that affects all of the phones, but it’s far from an isolated issue either. Fortunately, it looks to be a software problem that can be fixed with a firmware update.
This is the statement by OnePlus regarding phantom taps, according to The Verge: Incidentally, the report also makes mention of other touchscreen issues, including unresponsive corners. This is also an issue that has been identified as a software problem, and a fix for it is also already on the way.
