For a start, the TAPH805 comes with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), provided by two feedback microphones inside the earcups, as well as two feed-forward microphones built outside of the earcups. Specs-wise, the headphones utilise 40mm drivers, with a bandwidth range between seven and 40000Hz. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.0 but more importantly, the headphones boast a 30-hour battery life on a single charge. Moreover, Philips says that just five minutes of charging gives users two hours of playback, while 15 minutes of charging gives users up to six hours. To fully charge the headphones, a total charging time of the two hours is required. The TAPH805 also supports Google Assistant via simple touch controls built into the headband. By touching it, users can perform basic functions such as opening calendars, calling and sending messages to people on your contact list. The Philips TAPH805 is already available for purchase on all authorised online retailers and physical resellers. The headphones retail for RM999. In conjunction with its availability, the first 100 units will be sold at a promotional price of RM699. So, if this has piqued your interest, you’re going to want to move fast.
