ASUS also had out its two 43-inch FreeSync gaming display, the ROG Swift XG438Q and ROG Swift XG43VQ. We first laid eyes on the former earlier this year at CES 2019, while the latter was only recently added to ASUS’ gaming display lineup. As a quick recap, the XG438Q has a maximum refresh rate of of 120Hz and is DisplayHDR 600 compliant. Giving it a maximum HDR brightness of 500 nits, and comes with 15 individual dimming zones. It’s maximum resolution is 4K (3840 x 2160). The XG43VQ is also a 4K display, but unlike the XG438Q, it is an ultra-wide gaming monitor and has a higher maximum refresh rate of 144Hz.
ASUS also had its new ROG Zephyrus and ROG Strix series notebooks on the floor too. Specifically, the brand also showed off its notebook line with its new and brighter Silver theme for both lineups.
Of course, the ROG Mothership was also on display, and unlike our first encounter with it at CES 2019, the units we saw were definitely in proper and functioning conditions.
ASUS also had its entire motherboard lineup appear at the booth, but it was clear that the majority of visitors were making a beeline towards its X570 motherboard lineup. Designed specifically for AMD’s 3rd generation Ryzen CPUs.
ASUS also had a special little corner where it was showcasing its new ROG Strix 650W PSU. The PSU is one of two models recently introduced by the brand. The other SKU being a 750W unit.
Also unsurprising was the presence of the brand’s Prime Utopia motherboard concept at the show floor. We actually managed to get a better look at the concept, as well as the modular I/O ports and detachable OLED panel.
Of course, these are just some of the multitude of products that ASUS has on show. ASUS’ booth will be at the Nangang Exhibition Centre from 28 May until 2 June 2019. If you happen to be in the area, we do recommend that you pay it a visit.
