As with any keyboard of this category, the Huntsman Mini excludes the number pad, arrow keys and function keys for the sake of making it compact for travel and storage, or to open up more room for your desk. That said, you could still activate function keys ala a laptop-styled approach by holding down the Fn key and tapping on a corresponding key to certain functions.

In terms of hardware, the new keyboard features an aluminium board and uses double-shot PBT keycaps which ensures that its letters won’t simply rub away or develop a sheen through wear and tear. Razer claims that both clicky and linear switch types will have an expected lifespan of 100 million keystrokes, and added that improvements have been made in terms of noise reduction and tactile experience for the latter variation. Of course, the Huntsman Mini includes Chroma RGB LED backlighting for its keys which can be tweaked via the Razer Synapse software. Additionally, it also features a standard bottom row that is compatible with most standard keycap sets for added customisation. The keyboard attaches to PCs via a USB-C cable, which is included in the box. The Huntsman Mini is released in Black or Mercury White colour variations.

The both variations of the new Razer Huntsman Mini is available now through the company’s official website and are priced at RM549 for the clicky variant, while the linear version retails at RM589. The keyboards will be on store shelves from 3 August 2020 onwards. (Source: Razer official website)
