First off we have the Razer Pro Type keyboard, which features a soft-touch coating on its keys for typing comfort and uses the brand’s proprietary Orange Mechanical Switches. The latter is capable of withstanding up to 80 million keystrokes, according to Razer. Connectivity-wise, the Pro Type supports both Bluetooth and USB-C for up to four devices. Other than that, it also features fully programmable keys with macro recording, and white LED backlit keys.
Next up is the Razer Pro Click, an ergonomically designed mouse featuring the brand’s 5G Advanced Optical Sensor. The company heavily emphasises the mouse’s design, which they said is contoured to position the user’s wrist at a neutral 30-degree angle – thus ensuring a high level of comfort. Like the Pro Type, the new mouse can be used wired via USB-C or wirelessly through Bluetooth connectivity with up to four devices, and features an “extended battery life in excess of 400 hours”. The Pro Click includes five buttons (including the mouse wheel) and is claimed to withstand up to 50 million clicks.
Lastly is the Razer Pro Glide, which acts as a companion to the Pro Click. It is 360 x 275 x 3mm in terms of dimensions, and features a textured micro-weave cloth surface with high density foam bob-slip backing. Fancy words aside, this is basically a Razer mouse pad that is decked out in the same white/grey theme as the other devices in the new set.
The Razer Productivity Suite is slated to be available on its official online store and authorised resellers on 20 August and 27 August 2020 respectively. The Pro Type will be retailing at USD139.99 (~RM585), the Pro Click at USD99.99 (~RM418), and the Pro Glide is priced at USD9.99 (~RM42). Malaysian pricing and availability for these three new devices have not been announced at this time. (Source: Razer [1] [2])
