Almost all the information regarding both devices that we heard prior to the official launch today was indeed true. Among such information was the pricing of each device as Galaxy A50 is priced at RM 1199 while the Galaxy A30 can be obtained for RM 799.
While both Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 are equipped with 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display and 4000mAh battery, there are plenty of things separated them apart. One of the main differences is their camera setup as the Galaxy A50 is equipped with triple rear camera setup while the A30 comes with dual rear camera system. Specifically, the Galaxy A50 carries a combination of 25MP, 5MP, and 8MP sensors on its back while the Galaxy A30 offers 16MP and 5MP sensors. Both phones are also equipped with different 25MP and 16MP sensors respectively for their selfie cameras.
Same goes for their processors since Galaxy A50 is powered by Exynos 9610 while Galaxy A30 is running on Exynos 7903. In Malaysia, Galaxy A50 is being released with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage alongside the Galaxy A30 which comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Local consumers are able to get either of these phones immediately through all Samsung retailers throughout Malaysia from today onwards.
