Korean news outlet ETNews reports that the upcoming Note 10 may omit not only the Bixby button, but also the power button and volume rocker as well. In their place will likely be sensors that allow for squeezing, plus support for gestures to access the buttons’ functions instead.
At the same time, the report also mentions the design making its way to the Galaxy A series. Which isn’t unexpected, considering Samsung’s recent intentions of turning the Galaxy A series into the trendsetter for all its Galaxy series. Also, considering the time period between the first phone with the Infinity-O display and the Galaxy S10. It wouldn’t surprise us if Samsung released a buttonless Galaxy A device a few months before the Note 10. At this point, it’s fair to say that all this should be taken with a pinch of salt. We’re still months away Samsung’s usual August launch window, which means there’s still time for Samsung to make some on-the-fly changes to the Note 10’s overall design.
