The two aforementioned sources are OnLeaks and xleaks7, who have shared two of their own set of renderings of the Galaxy S21. Interestingly, both of these share similarities in terms of the upcoming phone’s design, especially the camera layout on the phone’s back. Gone are the typical camera island approaches from the predecessors of the Galaxy S21. Instead, the upcoming Samsung flagship now features the cameras to be housed in what appears to be an extended metal frame on the upper left corner on its back. The renders also suggest that the frame protrudes just slightly from the rear case. The phone is said to be at 9mm in thickness, with the camera bump included.
The leaks did not specify what cameras would be equipped on the Samsung Galaxy S21. If we were to guess, it may feature a 12MP main sensor or better, an ultra-wide, and a telephoto lens. Additionally, an alleged Ultra variant render provided by OnLeaks reveals that a fourth ‘Space Zoom’ lens is also present in the setup. In front, the Galaxy S21 pretty much sports a familiar design language as seen with its predecessors. The leaks say that the phone will feature a flat 6.2-inch display with a single punch-hole camera cutout at its top center. The volume rockers and lock button are located on the right side of the device, and below it is a speaker grille as well as a USB-C port. Other than that, the phone is said to measure at 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9mm. Both sources did not reveal any information regarding the upcoming Samsung flagship’s hardware specifications. Although it is believed that it may be equipped with either the latest Snapdragon flagship SoC or Samsung’s next generation Exynos processor. Seeing that leaks of the design of the S21 is already making its way on the internet, it probably won’t take long for more information regarding its hardware to surface online.
