In addition to revealing said 11 games, Sega also announced the USB Cyber Stick, a flight stick-style controller. It is based on the original made by Sharp, known as the X68000 Cyber Stick CZ-8NJ2. Like the original, this remade accessory will give analogue inputs to the Mega Drive Mini 2 games that support it. The stick features, well, a stick, and a throttle, as well as the ability to swap the two around depending on your preference. So far, it looks like Sega is giving the Mega Drive Mini 2 a lot of love compared to the original. Not only is it getting the Mega CD attachment, which looks to be wholly cosmetic, it is also getting a practical accessory. Well, practical in function it may be, but probably less so in price. The USB Cyber Stick will have a price of JPY9980 (~RM326) when it launches. And that is slated to happen on the same day as the Sega Mega Drive Mini 2 being released, which is on 27 October.
