According to Sennheiser, the CX 400BT includes the same 7mm drivers as the aforementioned TW2 earbuds, which the brand touts to provide “deep bass, natural mids and clear, detailed treble”. As with other audio devices from the company, you’ll be able to adjust its equaliser to fit your personal liking via the Sennheiser Smart Control mobile application.
Like the TW2, the new earbuds also feature touch controls on each side which allows you to control audio, access certain features, and to take or reject calls. These commands could be customised via the aforementioned app if you so wish. The CX 400BT includes Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity and supports different codecs such as SBC, AAC, and aptX. Other than that, Sennheiser says that the earbuds also feature “ambient noise reduction” microphones that filter background noise from your voice when you’re making hands-free calls or issuing voice commands. In terms of battery life, the device is capable of 7 hours of continuous playback, with an additional 20 hours via its charging case.
The Sennheiser CX 400BT will be available in black or white, and is slated to be released in Malaysia on 15 September at the price of RM999. (Source / Images: Sennheiser [Official website])
