The lyrics feature is now currently limited to certain regions including Mexico, Indonesia and Canada. It can be found under the playback control, where it is included with other features like Genius’ “Behind The Lyrics”.

Other than having the feature appearing beneath the playback control, the lyrics can also be switched to a full-screen mode. For now, Spotify users from the rest of the world only have access to the current “Behind The Lyrics”, where it showcases the story behind the lyrics as well as a few annotations.
Ever since the lyrics feature was removed, the Spotify community has been requesting to bring the feature back. Spotify has confirmed with TechCrunch that the synced lyrics is in the testing phase.
