“This place takes your greatest fear and makes you live through it…until it kills you.” Check out the trailer below: The X-Men horror spinoff The New Mutants was initially supposed to hit the big screen in April 2018. However, due to a multitude of production problems (Long story short: Midway through production, Fox studio executives asked director Josh Boone to make a more YA-esque movie instead of a straight-up horror film the director envisioned. Once principal photography wrapped, studio executives changed their minds, this time telling Boone to make New Mutants in line with his original vision) the film was pushed back multiple times. Scheduled reshoots were getting pushed back too — it was a total mess. However, it looks like things have finally settled down and we’ll be seeing The New Mutants on the big screen after all. It’s been reported that the version we’ll be seeing really soon is Josh Boone’s unadulterated vision. Of course, we’re a little sceptical about that.
