Design-wise, the design contour of the new phone looked almost similar to the original Black Shark although Black Shark Helo no longer features the huge structure on its back. That area is now covered by glass instead.
Another change that the Black Shark team has implemented on its second phone is the new dual heat pipes on the Black Shark Helo’s processor that are said to offer higher heat dissipation area than the liquid cooling system than the original Black Shark gaming phone. The heat pipes also apparently able to lower down the processor’s temperature by 12°C. Speaking about the processor, the Black Shark Helo still features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, as per its predecessor. Its maximum amount of internal storage also still remained at 256GB but when it comes to memory, the new phone can be obtained with up to 10GB of RAM.
Built with a new 6.01-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display, the Black Shark Helo still features a combination of 12M and 20MP cameras on its back as well as a 20MP selfie camera. Also remained the same as per its predecessor is the phone’s 4000mAh battery. Set to be available at the end of this month in China, the new Black Shark Helo price tag starts at CNY 3199 (~RM1919) for the 6GB/128GB model while the 8GB/128GB variant goes for CNY3499 (~RM2099).
